Starter Circuit CheckRemote Control Models INotel Battery must be fully charged
Procedure Remove black lead from ground at CDConnect voltmeter between CD and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground Steps thru starter to solenoid cable from (j) to prevent starter engagement while making checksbetween ground
m-Remove
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
II Check voltage
I Note Steps thru key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting Check voltage between ground andConnect meter at Turn key to START position
