Stator Servicing Removal
To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads
1Remove the flywheelRefer to Flywheel Service Information, Page 3-82Disconnect stator yellow and yellowgray leads at terminal board

with the crankcase head and its retaining screws2Install the stator and route the leads3Apply ONIC Locquic Primer, then ONIC Nut Lock to the retaining screw threads4Tighten all screws to torque of 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm)5Attach stator yellow and yellowgray leads to terminal boardCoat final connections with OMC Black Neoprene Dip6Insert blackyellow lead into 5-pin Amphenol connector7Refer to Flywheel Service Information for correct flywheel installation procedure
