[[] 1To test the solenoid windings, calibrate an ohmmeter on low ohms scale and connect between the purplewhite and black leads Meter should indicate 4-7 ohms
2To test solenoid valve and seat: Lightly pressurize inlet fitting with alcohol and syringe
ITJ With lever in run positionno fluid should enter inlet
fitting
ITJ With lever in prime positionfluid should come out of
both outlet fittings[] 3To inspect or replace internal components, remove the four solenoid cover screws[] 4When assembling solenoid, back up screws in their holes to engage original threads and tighten securelyInstallation 1Attach purplewhite leads and three hosesSecure large hose with tie strap2Install solenoid and bracketPosition ground lead under the inside bracket screw
