Cam Follower Pickup
1Snap the throttle link coupler shell off the throttle cam
2While holding the cam follower against the throttle cam, move the throttle cam until embossed mark on the cam aligns with center of the cam followerTighten the cam follower screw
3Connect throttle shaft amplifier to the top carburetor shaft plate
4While advanc'ing the throttle cam, the embossed mark on the cam should align with center of the cam follower as tip of the amplifier begins to moveIdle Timing
1Note The boat and engine must be in the water under normal operating conditions with the correct propeller installedThe boat's movement must be unrestrainedThe boat must not be tied to dock or trailer
