Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutschpin and socket terminals are not the same size
as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OVIC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
rn out wedge from receptacle, or use other end ofPIN 342667,out Use hook-end of Connector Service Tool, to pull tool to pry
wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch orgently pull on wire
Terminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to below ledge or end of plug 132
