1Align marks on piston with marks on connecting rod to ensure proper match
rn 2Lubricate wrist and piston.wrist wristborethroughoilpiston pin and pin with and assemble wrist pin, rod, Push pin
and rod3Install wrist pin retaining ring in piston by positioning on end in groove and pushing in with finger
4Install retaining ring so the gap is positioned opposite from relief, as shown
[] 5To install oil control ring assembly, place segmented ring in bottom groove firstInsert the end of first scraper ring under segmented ring and work around until installation is completeInsert second scraper ring, above segmented ring, in the same fashion6Angle the scraper ring end gaps and segmented ring gap 45 from center points of wrist pin to ensure proper sealing]7Install the middle ring in the middle ring groove with the "2" stamping facing up (white paint to right side of gap)Install the top ring in the top ring groove with the "R" stamping facing up (orange paint to right side of gap)Angle the end gaps of the rings, opposite each other, 90 from center point of wrist pin to ensure proper sealing
