1Mark rocker arms before removal from cylinder head
2Align rocker arms to unloaded position by rotating camshaft until pad rests on the base diameter of camUse the cam pulley screw and washer installed in the end of cam to rotate3Back off valve adjustment nuts and tappet screws while in the unloaded positionUse OMC Tappet Adjustment Tool, PI 341444, to back off tappet screws
