1Disconnect two brown wire bullet connectors between stator and power pack2Set peak-reading voltmeter to
3Connect the meter black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect meter red lead between the two brown stator leadsCrank engine and observe meter at each connectionAny reading indicates charge coil is grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly
4If no reading is indicated in Step 3, go to Output TestOutput Test
