With the motor in the vertical position, fill the oil sump until the oil level is between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks on 9.915 (305cc), or "L" and "F' marks on thru 9.9 (211 cc) modelsStart and run engine for few minutes and recheck oil level after engine has cooled downAdd oil if necessary
After the first 20 hours of operation, replace the oil with Evinrude or Johnson Ultra 4-Stroke Crankcase Oil NoteOperating the engine with too much or too little oil will damage it
