Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutschpin and socket terminals are not the same size
as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
OJ Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from
Terminal Removal
connectorsApply light coat of ONIC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Use hook-end of OMC Connector Service Tool, PIN 342667, to pullout wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch or
gently pull on wire
Terminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to 1132 in(0,8 mm) below ledge or end of plug
