Assembly
1If the reverse gate was removed during disassembly, install reverse gatebushings ,and shafts to jet housingPosition shafts so holes align with holes where retaining screws make contact
2Tighten screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)After installation, check to make sure the reverse gate moves freelyW
3Place roller into cam in position shownThe roller will not assemble in any other position
4Place cam roller on reverse gate stud, and tighten nut to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)5Install bushing

Before tightening cam screw, adjust reverse gateRefer to Gate Adjustment6Apply OIVK:: Adhesive sealant to the spacer and jet drive housing mating surfacesPlace the spacer on the jet drive housing7Install water pump assembly to jet housingRefer to Water Pump ServicingDo not use the impeller plate gasket on Jet modelApply OIVK:: Gasket Sealing Compound to the impeller plate before installing8Coat driveshaft splines with OMC Moly LubeDo not coat top surface of driveshaft as lubricant here may prevent seating of driveshaft in crankshaft
