Install the pinion nut on the driveshaft using avIC Pinion Nut Starting Tool, PIN 342216Turn the driveshaft by hand to engage the nutRemove the pinion nut starting tool before applying torque to the pinion nutWhile holding the pinion nut with an 1116 inwrench and the driveshaft with an avIC Driveshaft Holding Socket, PI 334995, tighten the nut to 40-45 ftIbs(54-60 Nm)Pad handle of the wrench to prevent damage to the gearcase
