1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads2Remove the throttle cable retaining clip and throttle cable anchor screw and washer Loosen throttle cable retainer screw 3Manual Start ModelsRemove electrical bracket cover screwsRemove cover4Separate the 1-pin Amphenol connectorRemove the stop button wire from the plug using OMC Socket Removal Tool, PIN 3226995Disconnect the stop button ground terminal
