[H114Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to outside diameter of temperature switch and install in cylinder head Install sending unit cover
15Install the thermostat assembly into the cylinder head with the pin end of thermostat facing out
16Lightly coat both sides of new thermostat cover gasket with OMC Gasket Sealing Compound
17Position the relief spring
18Install the thermostat coverInstall the screws and torque them to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
19If removed, oil and press new lower main bearing onto the crankshaftWhen pressing on the bearing, support the crankshaft between the two lower counterweights and press against the lettered side ofthe bearingInstall the retaining ring in groove of the crankshaft with sharp edge of the ring facing away from bearing20Oil the upper main bearing surface of the crankshaftSlide the upper main bearing onto the crankshaft with seal facing the flywheel end of crankshaftLightly coat the center main journal of the crankshaft surface with outboard lubricantInstall both halves of the center main bearings
