Throttle Control Rod 1With the engine not running, ensure that the idle speed screw is firmly against its stop and both carburetor throttle plates are closed []] 2Rotate the socket on the throttle control rod to obtain 0.020 in(0,5 mm) gap between the throttle cam and cam follower
3Install the throttle control rod socket on throttle cam and verify gapWide-Open Throttle Stop
1Advance the throttle lever
to wide-open position
[[] 2The carburetor throttle shaft pins must be exactly vertical at wide-open throttle
3Loosen the locknut and adjust the W.O.Tstop screw to adjust pin orientation to exactly vertical

1Turn idle speed adjustment knob fully counterclockwise to minimum slow speed position
