4Thread OMC Slide Hammer Adapter, PIN 340624onto OMC Slide Hammer, PIN 391008 Screw the adapter into the cylinder pin and remove the pin5Remove one of the 34 inlocknuts from the angle adjustment rodRemove the rod from the stern brackets6Remove the unit from the stern brackets far enough to remove the ground lead from the pump motor mounting screw
3Remove the spring clip from the cylinder pin
