1Coat both sides of new powerhead base gasket with ClVIC Gasket Sealing Compound and install it on the exhaust housing2Coat the driveshaft splines
with ClVIC Moly LubeDO
NOT apply lubricant to the end of the driveshaft as lubricant here
may prevent seating of driveshaft in crankshaft
3Attach ClVIC Lifting Eye, PIN 396748, to the flywheel and tighten the screws only enough to ensure thread engagement
INote Threading the lifting eye screws in too far into the flywheel
will damage components mounted to the underside of the flywheel[] 4Using hoist, carefully lower the powerhead onto the exhaust housingSecure with seven screws coated with ClVIC Gasket Sealing CompoundTighten the screws to 180-204 inIbs(20-23 Nm)Remove the lifting eye
