To prevent accidental starting of engine, verify that battery cables are disconnected at battery
Control Cable Identification
1Put the control handle into NEUTRAL positionThe throttie cable casing guidewill retract completely and the shift cable casing guide will go to the midpoint of its travelcable casing guide must retract and the throttle cable casing guide must begin to extend
OJ 2As you move the control handle into FORWARD, the shift
3As you move the control handle into REVERSE, both casing guides must extend4Identify each control cable for proper installation
Control cable identification and function must be correct before continuing with installationShift Cable
1Extend shift cable and lubricate with OIVIC Triple -Guard grease2Verify that the fast idle lever is down in the RUN position
