Throttle Plate Synchronization 1Remove the air silencer
2Use 56 inball-hex driver to turn the cam follower adjustment screw counterclockwise until the cam and cam follower are NOT touching
[] 3Loosen the two carburetor link screws4Verify that all throttle plates are completely closed
5Apply light upward pressure to carburetor link tabs and tighten the carburetor link screws
Idle Timing INotel The boat and engine must be in the water under normal operating conditions with the correct propeller installed The boat's movement must be unrestrainedThe boat must not be tied to dock or trailerAllow engine to reach normal operating temperature before making this adjustment
