Starter Assembly Service Disassembly
Wear safety glasses while disassembling and assembling manual starters because of rewind spring tension1Remove snap ring, pawl and linkage
2Pull rope out completely, install handle (Kit PIN 342682) on pawl pin and secure with tie strap around starter leg and handle
3Remove rope from pulley channel, untie knot and remove rope from starter assembly
[] 4Hold pulley secure with handle and remove tie strapAllow pulley to unwind slowly until tension is relieved5Remove screw and spindle from assembly while holding pulley in position
