19Wrap single layer of cellophane tape around the propeller shaft over the groove in the shaftThis will prevent the seals in the gearcase head from becoming damaged in the groove
14020Lig htly apply OVIC Triple-Guard grease to new gea rcase
head a-ringInstall the a-ring in groove of the housing
21Coat the a-ring and two gearcase head attaching screws with OIVIC Gasket Sealing CompoundSlide the gearcase head over the propeller shaft and then fully seat it in its correct position22Install and tighten the gearcase head retaining screws to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)Installation
