Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove spark plugs leads2Remove fuel system components as described in Section 23Remove manual starter as described in Section 7
4Remove ignition components as described in Section 35Disconnect throttle cable and linkage
6Remove two inner screws connecting lower cover halvesDisconnect choke linkage7Remove outer screw connecting cover halves8Remove two front plate to lower cover screws
