13Remove oil pressure switch and oil maintenance valve
14Remove tie straps securing retainer to injector, remove retainerRemove inlet and outlet nipple elbows
15Place manifold in soft-jaw vice and tighten securelyRemove and discard a-rings from inlet and outlet nipples and remove nipples from housingRemove and discard a-ring from threaded ends
Important The oil injector and oil distribution manifold are an assembly and cannot be serviced as individual componentsAssembly
1Apply CIVIC Triple-Guard grease to new a-ring and install on threaded end of inlet and outlet nipplesInstall nipples in housing and torque to 60-72 inIbs(7-8 Nm)2Apply CIVIC Triple-Guard grease to new a-rings and install on exposed nipple endsa-rings are color codedbrown for inlet nipple, black for outlet nipple
