Flywheel Servicing Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine, twist and remove all spark leads2Remove the ECU cover, ECU, and flywheel cover3Using Snap-on A-144-A fixture, or equivalent, hold the flywheel and remove the five flywheel retaining screwsDiscard the five screws
4Using the two 3a-24x1 inscrews from OMC Flywheel Service Kit, PI 434649, secure the tool to the flywheelTwo ofthe five holes in the flywheel are tapped for the toolTurn the center screw and draw the flywheel off the crankshaftINotel To avoid damaging the flywheel magnets, OMC Flywheel Service Kit, PIN 434649, should be your only method of removing and installing the flywheelFor proper flywheel en gagement, the housing of the OMC Flywheel Service Kit must be modified as shown Installation
