Relay Ohmmeter Tests
The 70 amp main power relay is always connected to the electrical system as follows:
Wire Color=
B+12 Volt (+) Solenoid Wire ColorRed
= 12 Volt (-) Battery (Ground)
Wire Color Wire Color
Black Red
= Load12 Volt to RectifierRegulator
To avoid immediate meter damage, never apply an ohmmeter to an electrical circuit where voltage is presentTo protect your test light or meter, remove relay from socket before proceedi ng with test1Use Fluke Model 29 meter or equivalent calibrated on ohms scale or continuity light to test continuity
