Fuel Component Servicing
Before starting any fuel system disassembly, carefully relieve fuel system pressureProtect against hazardous fuel spray by attaching suitable device to the vapor separator test point and slowly release pressureHave container available to catch residual fuel
Important Do not interchange individual fuel injector partsdoing so will disrupt flow characteristicsDo not interchange fuel injector parts with oil injector partsDisassembly
1To avoid accidental starting of engine, disconnect battery cables at battery2Remove ECU cover
3Disconnect electric fuel pump connector and remove reservoir water inletoutlet and oil manifold to lift pump hoses4Remove lift pump to filter hosetank to lift pump hose
