4Assemble armature to frame and magnet assembly, aligning marks on drive cap end and frame
5Install insulated brush and terminal set in commutator end cap with long lead in slotPosition the insulators and nut as shown in figure

these brushes will cause starter motor to run

6Install brush holder, brush springs, and ground brushesScrews secure ground brush leads and holderInsert insulated brushes in holder

7Assemble end cap to frame and field, aligning notch and ribA suitable tool for holding brushes in place can be made from putty knife
