Electric Starter ServicingV4 Removal

Disconnect the battery cables at the battery
rnscrews, and the starter to solenoid cable, two bracket retain 1Remove ing ground wirern 2Remove the front bracket retaining screwRemove the starter

Disassembly

1Gently pry bottom of protective cap from groove on spacer and remove cap2Pull cup down on armature shaft to expose retaining ringRemove ring using OMC Retaining Ring Pliers, PIN 325937Remove cup
