Driveshaft Bearing Housing Service
The driveshaft bearing housing is not serviceableReplace the bearing housing if the bearing is worn or damagedAlso, inspect the driveshaft bearing surface if bearing is damaged
1Remove and discard the driveshaft bearing housing seal using OMC Puller Bridge, PI 432127, and OMC Large Puller Jaws, PIN 4321292Remove and discard the a-ring from the bearing housing
3Clean the bearing housing in solvent to remove sealer from the seal bore and the -ring groove
rn rn 4Install a341439.seal in the bearing housingLubricant to new using OIVIC Seal Installer, PIN Apply DPL Penetrating
casing of the seal before installingPlace back of seal against tool and install it until tool is seatedApply OIVIC Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing
