24Remove the pinion bearing only if it needs to be replacedBefore attempting removal,take out the bearing retaining ring on top side of the pinion bearing, using long-handle needle-nose pliers such as Snap-on No911 CP or equivalentIf the pinion bearing must be replaced, use OMC Bearing Remover and Installer, PI 391257, and assemble it as follows:
