8Lightly coat the liner with oilWith counterclockwise rotation, install the impeller into the liner with slot for impeller cam facing out9Run thin bead of OMC Adhesive sealant in the seal groove, and install the special shaped a-ring seal Q)

impeller plate[] 3Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to flat area of the driveshaftInstall the drive camThe sharp edge of the cam is the leading edge during driveshaft rotation (h)4Slide the water pump assembly down the driveshaftAlign slot in the impeller with the impeller camRotate the driveshaft to engage the impeller cam with the impeller, and slide water pump assembly down over impellerBe sure impeller cam does not fall out of position
