10If removed, install new inner exhaust housing sealApply OMC Adhesive to the seal groove
11Clean and degrease the adapter housing and outer exhaust housing mating surfaces with OMC Cleaning SolventApply OMC Gel-Seal II to the adapter flange of the outer exhaust housing12Install the adapter housing on the outer exhaust housingAlign the water tubeLoosely install the small retaining screws13689
13Lubricate the upper mount with soapy water and push into place in the adapter housingThe mount radius must face aft and the "TOP" mark must face up
14Apply Locquic Primer and OMC Nut Lock to the upper mount plate screws and install the plate and screws looselyInstall the ground lead and star washer under the forward starboard screw
15Align the outer exhaust housing and adapter by placing powerhead mounting screws through their holes
