m Starter Rope Replacement
1Wear safety glasses while servicing the manual starter
2Pull the starter rope until it is completely unwoundUsing C-clamp and wood blocks, clamp the starter pulley in this position3Untie the knot in the starter rope and remove rope4Remove the rope anchor from the starter handle
5Separate rope from anchor and discard rope
6Cut new rope to length of 96112 in(245 cm)Fuse ends of rope to length of 112 in(12 mm)
rn 7Using OMCstarter Threading Tool, PI 378774, thread the Rope handlerope through the8Place the starter rope in the rope anchorPosition the anchor in the handle9Insert the rope through the starter handle bracket, rope guide, and into the starter pulley10Tie knot into the rope cavity of the starter pulley11Insert the knot into the rope cavity of the starter pulley
