Ohmmeter Test INotel All ohmmeter test must be performed with engine NOT running
rn 1Insert jumper wires in stator connector, terminals "A" and "8"rn 2Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect between jumpers Meter must show 480 50 ohms[] 3To test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter, alternately, between each jumper and clean engine ground Any needle movement indicates charge coil or leads are grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly4Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
