OJ To drain, remove oil
drainfill plug and oil level plug from gearcaseWith engine in normal operating position, allow oil to drain completely
To refill, place tube or pressure can nozzle of CIVIC Ultra-HPF gearcase lubricant in drainfill holeIf CIVIC Ultra-HPF gearcase lubricant is not available, use OMC Hi-Vis gearcase lubeWith engine in normal operating position, fill until lubricant appears at oil level holeInstall oil level plug before removing lubricant tube or pressure can nozzle from oil drainfill holeDrainfill plug can then be installed securely without oil lossTighten both plugs to torque of 84-86 inIbs(9-10 Nm)Steering System The installer was instructed to grease the steering cable ram(s) during installationOnce the engine is put into use, periodic cleaning and regreasing with OMC Triple-Guard grease is requiredIn fresh water usage, lubricate every 60 days; salt water usage, lubricate every 30 days
