Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same
size as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of CNC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
Use hook-end of CNC Connector Service Tool, PIN 342667, to pull out wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacle
rn Release terminal latch orgently pull on wireTerminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with CNC Electrical Grease to 1132 in(0,8 mm) below ledge or end of plug
