from the stern brackets
10Remove the stern bracket to spacer screwsport and starboard11Remove the shock absorber pin set screw Remove the shock absorber pinRemove the shock absorber from the spacer
TTL Models
1Remove one of the tilt tube nutsPull the tilt tube out of the swivel bracket assemblyIf necessary, use CIVIC Steering Tube Service Kit, PIN 434523Lift the swivel bracket from the stern brackets
2Remove the thrust rod from the stern brackets
3Remove the stern bracket to spacer screwsport and starboard
Assembly
1Manual Tilt ModelsPlace the bushings in the shock absorber basePosition the shock absorber in the spacerInstall the pin through the spacer and shock absorberInstall the pin set screw in the spacer and tighten to torque of 24-26 inIbs(3-4 Nm)
