3Remove the steering friction bushing and washer from inside the bracket4Remove one of the spring clips from the shock absorber upper pin5Drive the pin out of the swivel bracket
6Remove the nut and the washer from the end of the tilt shaft boltPull the bolt from the assembly7Lift the swivel housing from the stern brackets8Remove the bushings from the shock absorber rod end
