[] 3Remove the screws from the inner exhaust housing to the adapterRemove the adapter from the inner exhaust housingRemove the water tube and seal from the inner exhaust housingMark the water tube and inner exhaust housing for correct orientation
[]] 4Remove the screws from the megaphoneRemove the
megaphone and discard the gasket
5Check baffle and gasket condition, replace if necessary
Assembly
[]] 1Clean the adapter and megaphone gasket surfacesApply CIVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of new megaphone gasketPlace the gasket and megaphone on the adapterInstall the screws and tighten to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
[[] 2Slide the seal onto the water tube and install in the inner
exhaust housingPlace the inner exhaust housing on the adapterObserve orientation mark for correct alignment and position the water tube to align it with the water pumpInstall the screws and tighten to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
