QuikStart Electronic Starting This ignition system incorporates QuikStartTM electronic starting, which automatically advances ignition timing when engine temperature is less than 1050 (41 C) and for approximately 10 seconds each time the engine is started, independent of temperatureOnce QuikStart electronic starting has been canceled by engine temperature, the engine must be turned off before the ignition advance cycle can be repeatedQuikStart electronic starting also incorporates an RPM limit that cancels the ignition advance when engine speed exceeds approximately 1100 RPM
