Functional Test
1Disconnect temperature switch connection2Install correct test propellerStart engine in test tank and run at 3500 RPM3Attach the engine harness tan lead to clean engine ground Engine must slow to approximately 2500 RPM 4Stop the engine If engine speed reduced in Step 3, test the temperature switch Refer to Temperature Switch
Test, Section 4
If engine speed did not reduce in Step 3, continue with this procedure
