Installation 1Install new carburetor flange gaskets dry, use no sealer2Attach primer hoses to carburetor fittings3Install carburetors, lock washers, and nutsTighten nuts securely4Install fuel supply hoses using new tie straps5Install carburetor linkageRefer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments, Section 1, for adjustment information6Connect drain hose to air silencer base fitting7 Install base gasket and air silencer base using new screwsTorque the screws to 24-36 inIbs(3-4 Nm)8Momentarily pressurize fuel system and check for leaks9Install the gasket, air silencer cover, and retaining screwsTorque the screws to 24-36 inIbs(3-4 Nm)10Ifthe slow-speed needle adjustment has been disturbed, refer to Carburetor Mixture Adjustment Carburetor Mixture Adjustment
