6Install the retaining pin using suitable press

sure the electrical wires are not damaged by the retaining pin as it is pressed in place
7Apply OMC Screw Lock to the pinion set screwTighten screw (metric hex) to 25-35 inIbs(2,8-4,0 Nm)8Apply OMC Screw Lock to the adjustment ring set screw threadsHold the motor tube down and push the adjustment ring up to remove any looseness in bearingsTighten screws to 35-45 inIbs(4,0-5,1 Nm)9Remove three short brass colored screws from rack assemblySeparate rack cover, rack housing, and the rack10Install rack housing in steering housing with two long (silver colored) screws on port side at "L" locations
