seals and O-rings required to service the spool valve and cylinder are available in OMC O-Ring Kit, PIN 987034Some of the O-rings are similar in sizeTo be sure the O-rings are installed in the correct location, certain O-rings are packaged individually inside the kitThis manual makes reference to the individual packages and identifies each O-ring by its dimensions (1.0x thickness)During disassembly, the O-rings should be removed, one at time, and used to identify the replacement O-ring
1Remove and discard two internal O-rings in the cylinder tilt tube bore2Remove the valve housing assemblyIt may be necessary to secure the steering cylinder and tap the valve housing with rubber mallet
