6Using OMC Rod Holder, PIN 983213, clamp the rod tightly in viseRemove the thrust pad from the trim rod, then remove the end cap7Remove the rod from the viseUsing small screwdriver, carefully pry the scraper out of the end cap and discard it8Using suitable tool, remove the inner quad-ring and the outer O-ringDiscard the quad-ring and O-ringTrim Rod Reassembly
1Lubricate and install new quad-ring and scraper in the end capInstall the scraper with the bevel facing outLubricate and install new O-ring on the outside of the end cap
