5Install shift lockout lever and cam :
Place cam over spring washer Apply CIVIC Screw Lock to cam retaining screwand install the screwBe sure to align the two bosses on the cam with the two slots in the fast idle lever Install new locknut onto screw and torque screw to 25-35 inIbs(2,8-4,0 Nm) Install keeper plate and screw Torque screw to 10-15 inIbs(1,1-1,7 Nm)
6Place throttle lever spacer 7Insert bushing
on shift lock cam bosslever assembly
in the throttle
8Place throttle lever assembly onto shift lockout cam bossPlace countersink washer on throttle lever assembly with countersink facing outSecure throttle lever assembly using new patch lock screw; torque to 25-35 inIbs(2,8-4,0 Nm)&
9If removed, install lever separator plate into housingApply CIVIC Screw Lock to threads of the two screws and torque screws to 10-15 inIbs(1,1-1,7 Nm)Do not operate the remote control without the separator plate installed and the two retaining screws properly torquedInstall housing bushing 10Place shift lever assembly into housingApply CIVIC Moly Lube to teeth of shift lever
