Installation 1Thread the starboard end of the tilt tube into the spacer rn

2Thread the adapter onto the port end of the tilt tube3Using wood or leather mallet, tap the tilt tube into proper position
[] 4Be sure the lock tab is in correct position

5Install the starboard locknutReplace the locknut if definite resistance is not felt6Torque the starboard tilt tube nut to 50-54 ftIbs(68-73 Nm), then loosen nut 1Je to 14 turn
