Installation
1Remove the nuts from the powerhead adapter studs
2Install new O-ring on the driveshaftCoat the driveshaft splines with OMC Moly LubeDo not coat the top surface of the driveshaftLubricant here may prevent seating of the driveshaft in the crankshaft3Use OMC Universal Puller and Lifting Eye, PIN 321537, or OMC Lifting Fixture, PIN 396748, to lift the powerheadAttach the body from OMC Universal Puller Kit, PIN 378103, to the flywheel using three Screws, PIN 309492, and three Washers, PIN 307640Flat side of the body must face upThread OMC Lifting Eye, PIN 321537, into the body until taper of tool engages taper in center of the crankshaftTighten the lifting eyeUsing an adequate hoist, lift the powerhead4Install new powerhead to adapter gasket dryUse no sealer5Place the powerhead onto the adapterRotate the powerhead slightly back and forth to align the crankshaft and the driveshaft splines
