Off-Season Storage Use the following procedure to properly prepare Johnson and Evinrude outboards for extended periods of non-useThese steps are intended to protect the engine during storage and simplify the preseason servicing procedure1Stabilize the engine's fuel supply with CWk: 2+4 fuel conditioner, following directions on the bottleINotel Use flushing attachment if you operate the engine on a

trailer or dolly to prevent engine or water pump damage
InWhen using flushing attachment, always remove engine's
propeller before starting engine to prevent accidental contact with moving propeller
2Run the engine at approximately 1500 RPM for five minutes to ensure that the entire fuel supply system and the engine's carburetors are full of stabilized fuel3Prepare an engine "storage mixture" in shop V6 six-gallon gas tank, PIN 397767The mixture should include: Five gallons of fuel Two quarts of CWk: Storage Fogging Oil One pint of Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant 2112 ozof CWk: 2+4 fuel conditioner 4Connect the tank containing the "storage mixture" to the engineLeave the oil supply line connected to the engineRun the engine on the "storage mixture" at approximately 1500 RPM for five minutesAdapter, PIN 398339, can be used at the fuel inlet nipple on the lower engine coverI Note DO NOT disconnect fuel line or run VRO$ equipped en-
