Stator Resistance Test

INote Disconnect
battery cables before proceeding with this

1Remove the rectifierregulator cover

2Separate the stator yellow and yellowgray connector
3Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect one meter lead to stator yellow lead and the other meter lead to stator yellowgray lead Refer to the chart below for the correct value for your engine and stator combination Repair or replace stator if reading is not correctStator Resistance Model V4 V6 20 Amp 35 Amp
